One App, Six Vehicle Types

Not every journey is the same. A solo commuter heading to Winlaton station doesn't need the same vehicle as a family of five with a Labrador heading to the Lakes. That's why we run six distinct vehicle types — and you choose the right one when you book through the app.

Saloon — The Everyday Taxi

Our standard saloon handles the vast majority of journeys across Tyne and Wear. Comfortable, clean, and the most affordable option.

• Luggage: Up to 3 bags
• Best for: Daily commutes, town-to-town trips, nights out, station runs
• Examples: School run from Gateshead to Dunston, Friday night from Blaydon town centre, quick hop to Tesco

If you're one to four people with standard luggage, this is the one.

Estate — When Luggage Is the Priority

Same passenger count as the Saloon, but with a proper boot.

• Passengers: Up to 4
• Luggage: Up to 4 bags (larger boot capacity)
• Best for: Airport transfers, Ikea runs, golf clubs, moving day, anything where the bags outnumber the people

If you're heading to Newcastle Airport with two large suitcases and a couple of carry-ons, the Estate is your best bet. No trying to wedge a suitcase into the footwell.

6 Seater — Mid-Size Groups

Need a few more seats? The 6 Seater is perfect for families and small groups.

• Passengers: Up to 6
• Luggage: Room for bags
• Best for: Family trips, airport runs with the crew, nights out where nobody wants to be the designated driver

The Group Travel Secret

Here's something most people don't think about: a 6 Seater split between five or six people is often cheaper per head than the bus. A taxi from Blaydon to Newcastle split five ways? You're looking at a few quid each — with door-to-door service, no waiting at bus stops, and no detours through every village on the route.

7 & 8 Seater — Minibus for Bigger Groups

Our 7 and 8 seater Mercedes Vito Tourers are the most popular option for larger groups. One fare covers the whole vehicle.

Accessible — Wheelchair-Accessible Transport

Purpose-built with ramp access and secure wheelchair fixings. Professional drivers trained for all mobility needs.

• Passengers: Up to 3 (including wheelchair user)
• Luggage: Up to 3 bags
• Best for: Hospital appointments, day trips, regular outings, any journey requiring wheelchair access
• Vehicle type: WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) with rear ramp

Pets Welcome

We're a Tyne and Wear company — we know half the county has a dog. Just let us know when you book that you're bringing a pet, and we'll make sure the right vehicle is ready. Seat covers down, driver who genuinely doesn't mind muddy paws.
